Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Knauer, 87, of Sheldon were held Wednesday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon. The Reverend Beryl Hicks officiated. Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Knauer, the former Cora Noomen, was born March 29, 1895, at Hull. She married Fred L. Knauer February 19, 1920, at Rock Rapids. He died in 1932.

Survivors include three sons, John of Sheldon, Ray of Sioux City, and Fred of Mankato, Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sima of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Alice Yore of Chico, California; one brother, Harry of Primghar; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
