Hawarden Independent, July 4, 1929

Mrs. Frank E. Morgan, for more than forty years a resident of this community, died at her home in this city at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning, following a lingering illness from cancer. She had been in failing health for about five years and had been bedfast since about the first of June. She grew steadily weaker day by day so that the end was not unexpected.

She was also long a member of the Rebekah lodge and the Women's Relief Corps. and took a very active part in the work of those organizations. She was devoted to her home and family and the welfare of her husband and children was ever uppermost in her life.
