Funeral services will be at the Central Reformed Church here at 1:30 p.m. Friday for Dena Kruizenga, 71, life-long Sioux Center resident who died at her home here Tuesday evening following two weeks illness.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Marion Klaaren and burial will be made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

A brief service will be held at the Vander Ploeg Chapel at 1 p.m. preceding the service at the church.

Miss Kruizenga was born in Sioux Center June 15, 1893 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Kruizenga and resided all her life in this community. She and niece Grace Kruizenga, daughter of Henry Kruizenga have made their home together here for many years.

Survivors include three brothers, John of Rock Valley, Dick of Clinton, Wis. and Peter of Orange City, a sister, Mrs. John H. Rozeboom of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by her mother who passed away in 1923, her father who died February 28, 1944, a brother Henry and two sisters, Mrs. Jake Borgman and Mrs. Henry Rozeboom.
