Della Krommendyk, 102 of Sioux Center died Sat. July 22, at Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tues. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Burial was at the Ireton Cemetery.

Mrs. Krommendyk was born Nov. 27, 1897 in Hull, the daughter of Bert and Mary (Gritters) Bouma. She married Henry Krommendyk June 21, 1919, in Hull. He died August 3, 1967. They farmed near Hull until 1932 and then moved to Ireton, where she lived until 1968. She moved to New Homestead in Sioux Center until 1992, when she moved into Sioux Center Community Hospital Nursing Facility.

Survivors include four sons and their wives, Bernard and Margaret of Ruthven, Leonard and Lorraine of Orange City, Delmer and Sylvia of Worthington, MN, Preston and Carol of Fremont, MI; three daughters and their husbands, Margaret and Simon Disselkoen of Zeeland, MI Henrietta and John Blacquiere of Holland, MI, and Joan and Dick Hoogland of Sioux Center; 38 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hattie Te Grotenhuis of Sioux Center and Gertrude Moss of Rock Valley; a brother, Otto Bouma of Hull; and sister-in-law Grace Bouma of Rock Valley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and John Bouma; two sisters, Bertha Van Surksum and Jeanette Van Beek; and two granddaughters.

Memorials may be designated to Western Christian High School in Hull.
