Celia Vogelzang, 81, of Hudson, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 1985, in Hegg Memorial Hospital at Rock Valley. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, in the Hudson Lutheran Church. The Rev. James Rushton officiated. Burial was in Eden Cemetery at Hudson under direction of Van De More Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vogelzang, the former Celia Lehman, was born Feb. 27, 1903, in Sioux County. She married Fred F. Vogelzang Nov. 26, 1930, in Sioux City. They farmed near Chatsworth and later farmed near Hudson. In 1953 the family moved into Hudson. Mr. Vogelzang died July 12, 1980. She lived in Valley Manor Nursing IJome in Rock Valley since November of 1983.

Survivors include one son, William of Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Gildemeister of Rock Valley; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
