Tracy J. Vrieze, 54, of Des Moines, died Thursday, April 15, at Iowa Methodist Hospital Medical Center.

Services were Sat. at Westover Baptist Church in Des Moines. Burial was at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Vrieze was born in Hull and had lived the last 30 years in Des Moines. She had worked as a systems analyst for Norwest Mortgage for 10 years. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Vrieze of Des Moines; a daughter, Tracy Ann Lewiston of Winterset; a son Gerrit Vrieze of Winterset; four grandsons; two sisters, Goldie Kamies of Boyden and Lubertha Buyert of Primghar; two brothers, Arlin of Atlanta GA. and Matthew Buyert of Sheldon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerrit Buyert and Tracy Mulder, her infant twin brother, and six other siblings.

Memorials are directed to Iowa Special Olympics, Hospice of Central Iowa or Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children.
