Died: October 31, 2007Loren E. Sluijer, 82, Sand Lake Minnesota, formerly of Matlock, died Wednesday, October 31, at his home in the presence of his family.
Services were Tuesday November 6, at South Ensley United Methodist Church in Sand Lake, Michigan. Arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Alternatives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Loren Sluijer was born June 11, 1925, in Matlock.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Sluijer of Sand Lake, Michigan; a daughter, Ruth Ann Evans; a son, Arnold and Char Sluijer; a sister, Dorothy Den Hartog of Sheldon; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ed Sluijer.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Michigan Big Rapids and the Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan.
