Wilhelmina "Minnie" Punt, 91, of Sioux Center died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at Community Health Center in Sioux Center.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Arnold Punt officiated. Graveside services were held prior to the memorial service in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center, under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Wilhelmina was born Sept. 29, 1908, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Ralph and Ella (Kosters) Van De Berg.

She married Henry Punt on Feb. 13, 1929 in Sioux Center. The couple farmed near Sioux Center for many years. They moved to the Community Health Center in 1986. Mr. Punt died Dec. 11, 1986.

Mrs. Punt was a member of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Donald and Alvina of Sioux Cneter, Leroy and Joan of Maurice and Lloyd and Gracia of Pipestone, Minn.; two daughters and their husbands, Audrey and Lawrence Groen and Dorothy and Curtis Van Briesen, all of Sioux Center; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Bidwell of Sioux Center; 30 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Henry William; two grandchildren, Cheryl and Brian Punt; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, John, Henry, William and Ralph, and two sisters, Gerdena Van Ravenswaay and Dora Van De Berg.
