Winnie Punt, 84, of Sioux Center, died Thursday, April 24, at the Valley Manor Nursing Home in Rock Valley. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the First Reformed
Church in Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens in Sioux Center. Visitation was held at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Chapel in Sioux Center.

Mrs. Punt, the former Winnie Hulstein, was born June 6, 1901, in Sioux Center. She married Arie Punt on December 5, 1919, in Sioux Center. Mrs. Punt had been a resident of Valley Manor Nursing Home for several years.

Survivors include three daughters, Irene Van Roekel of Sioux Center, Johanna Van Kekerix of Tama, and Geraldine Poppen of Oaklyn, New Jersey; four sisters, Cora Punt of Sioux Center, Grace Grandstra of Ocheyedan, Reka Borst of Middleville, Michigan, and Henrietta Kiel of;Sheldon; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
