Pauline Punt, 102 of Sioux Center died Thurs. July 13, 2000 at the Sioux Center Community Health Center.
She was born to Martin and Elizabeth (Oosthoek) Inveld in Nieuw Vennep, The Netherlands. While Pauline was a child the family moved to the USA. She married Neal Punt on Jan. 13, 1916 in Perkins, IA. The couple farmed near Maurice, Neal G. died Sept. 13, 1946. In 1949 the family moved to Sioux Center. Pauline enteerd the care center in 1991. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Sioux Center, where she started the library, and was a member of the Dorcas Circle. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and doing word puzzles.
Survivors include two daughters; Leona and Virgil Kots of Orange City, IA. Elizabeth Van Veldhuizen of Sanborn, IA; Three sons; Martin and Mavis of Sioux Center, Harold and Louise of Maurice, and Dennis and Arlene of Orange City; 34 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son & his wife (Gerrit & Hendrene) son-in-law (John Van Veldhuizen), daughter-in-law (Jeane, two grand children (Daniel Kots & Carol Calsbeek) and one great great grandchild (Matthew Campbell)
