Died: August 19, 2007Vanessa Hope Lief, newborn daughter of Jason and Tammy Lief of Sioux Center, died Sunday, August 19, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Graveside services were Saturday, August 25, at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, with the Reverend Mark Verbruggen officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.
Vanessa Lief was born at 1:41 A.M. August 19, 2007. She died at 8:35 P.M. that same day. Her short life was spent in the arms of those who loved her most. She will be loved and remembered forever.
Survivors include her parents, Jason and Tammy Lief of Sioux Center; a sister, Naomi; a brother, Christian; her twin sister, Savannah; and grandparents, Gary and Nadine De Hoogh and David and Sandra Lief; and aunts and uncles and friends.
