Life's Cares Over

The Death Angel visited the home of Pleun Groneweg last week Thursday evening at about ten o'clock. Mrs. Groneweg, who had been in her usual health up until about five hours before, died of apoplexy.

Adriana Nugteren was born in South Holland in the Netherlands sixtyone years ago. It was thirtyeight years ago that she became the beloved wife of Pleun Groneweg. Twelve years ago with her husband and seven children she came to America, settling near Middleburg. Some two years ago, her family moved onto the Herman Wilts' farm five miles south of Rock Valley. Thruout her long life Mrs. Groneweg was a faithful wife and loving mother.

She leaves an aged husband and seven children to mourn her loss, four sons and three daughters, of which one son and two daughters are married and have homes of their own. All were present at the funeral. Services were held from the home at eleven o'clock Saturday and from the Christian Reformed church at two in the afternoon, Rev. H. J. Heynen, pastor, officiating. A large concourse of friends and neighbors followed the remains of the deceased to their last resting place. The Bee joins with friends of the bereaved family in extending to them sincere sympathies in their sad bereavement.
