Died: March 12, 1993 Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Rodney D. Dibbet, 36 of rural Sioux Center died Friday March 12, at a Sioux Falls hospital due to cancer.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Netherlands Reformed Church, Rock Valley, with the Rev. John den Hoed officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley.

Dibbet was born Sept. 14, 1956 at Sioux Center, the son of Jacob and Priscilla (Van Voorst) Dibbet. He graduated from Sioux Center High School in 1975. He married Gloria Van Den Top May 28, 1976, at Rock Valley. They lived and farmed in rural Sioux Center.

Survivors include his wife; three sons and a daughter, Scott, Jerry, James, and Rachel, all at home; his parents, of Sioux Center; two sisters, Mrs. Dan (Darla) Lais of Brandon, S.D. and Mrs. Ralph (Julie) Van Zweden of Sioux Center.
