Owing to the holiday rush we failed to mention the death of Editor Christie formerly of the Granville Gazette but lately of Oklahoma. He dropped dead while away from home and was buried as unknown. His son had the remains disinterred and identified them. Christie had a bright mind and a vitriolic pen.

(A. A. Christie and his son W. L. Christie were in the Granville newspaper business a brief time from about 1905-1907. In the Granville centennial book the editor of the Gazette was Bill Christie at one time. Also in the newspapers on line a brother of A. A. was mentioned as Ben Christie. No further identity of Mr. Christie was found.)
