KLOEK, KLOCK

Death is always sad but especially so when it claims a little child for its victim. The vacant chair is the more noticeable when the child is a general favorite. No sadder death ever occurred in Hull than that of little Anna Wilhelmina Kloek. None more than the parents will sense the desolation caused by the taking away of little "Tootsie" as she was known in the family circle. The little pet was but little past eight years of age, yet none but God knows how much was crowded into the busy little life. Until baby brother came, but a short year ago, "Tootsie" was baby in the home. What a loss to Mamma! How she will be missed by Papa! Sister and baby brother will miss more than a playmate, and those who knew sweet little "Tootsie" will sympathize more than can be expressed in words with the mourners.

Little Anna was afflicted with heart trouble, but high hopes had grown that she would outgrow the bodily weakness. She was sick but a few days with scarlet fever. Racked and fever burned, the little body threw off the disease, but collapsed after the fever left. Loving hands soothed her ruffled pillow and cared for every want during her last sickness. Sad as her death is yet there is consolation in those words of Holy Writ: "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." The Bee joins with friends in extending condolence to the afflicted family and friends.
