Darlene D. Zoeller, 74, of Hawarden, died suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at her residence in Hawarden. Funeral Service was May 31, 2005 at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden with the Rev. Loren Vogler officiating. Burial followed in the Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Darlene D. Zoeller was born February 26,1931 at Ireton, the daughter of Herman and Martha (Haage) Beermann. She married Richard Zoeller Aug. 10, 1962 at Hawarden. They made their home in Hawarden where she was employed at Tom's Café and at the Gladstone Hotel. Richard died Oct. 26,1990.

She is survived by a son, Verlyn Beermann of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Carla Zoeller, also of Sioux Falls; a brother, Arlo Beermann of Le Mars; two sisters, LaVada Beerman of Hawarden and Arnola Beermann of LeMars; and two grandchildren, Travis Zoeller and Nicole Zoeller. She was preceded in death by her husband.
