Anna "Annie" Coffman, 88, of Los Angeles, formerly of Rock Valley, died Tuesday in a nursing home in Los Angeles.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Saturday in the Peace Lutheran Church, rural Rock Valley. The Rev. Ron Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Eden Cemetery at Hudson, S.D.

Mrs. Coffman, the former Anna Miller, was born September 2, 1895, rural Rock Valley. She graduated from the Iowa School for the Deaf at Council Bluffs. She married Robert Coffman, April 22, 1922 in Los Angeles. They farmed in the Rock Valley area for several years. She later returned to California.

Survivors include two brothers, Wesley of Rock Valley and Lou of Sioux Falls, SD, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Plumkett of Minneapolis.
