J.D. Farnham, a former well known resident of Chatsworth, passed away recently at his home in Long Beach, California. Mr. Farnham operated a large farm just south of Chadsworth for many years before moving to California.

He was a man of splendid qualities and of a genial disposition and he was held in highest esteem by all who knew him.

He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. John A. Jones of Long Beach, California.
