Mrs. Anna K. Feuchter, a former resident of Hawarden, died in a Sioux City Hospital last Thursday following an operation for gall stones performed several days before.

Mrs. Feuchter conducted the Brewer Hotel in Hawarden for a time a number of years ago and made many friends in Hawarden.

Anna (Simeon) Feuchter was born in Jackson County, Iowa, in 1858 and was therefore 58 years of age. She married Charles Feuchter in 1877. He died last December.

Four children survive. They are: Charles F. Feuchter, 38 years old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Louis P. Feuchter, 28 years old, of Ida Grove; Mrs. Thomas J. Sawyer, 24 years old, of New York City; and Joseph Feuchter, 16 years old, of Sioux City.
