Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church at Orange City at 9:30 A.M. Monday, August 25, for Mrs. Marvin Grotenhuis, 49, of Orange City, who died at a Sioux City Hospital August 22, following a long illness with emphysema.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Alvin Hook and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Grotenhuis, the former Lila Taylor, was born October 25, 1919, on a farm west of Sioux Center and had resided in the Sioux Center area until moving to Orange City about 3 years ago. Her husband is a cashier at the Northwestern State Bank.

Survivors besides her husband, Marvin include a son, Kirk, attending Iowa State University at Ames, and a daughter, Mrs. Kay Kennon, of Ames.
