Mr. S. Hoekstra of Sheldon brought the remains of his little daughter to Orange City last Saturday for burial. The funeral services were held at the home of his mother, Mrs. A. Hoekstra in this city conducted by Rev. E. Breen. Mr. Hoekstra buried the twin brother of this child here about three months ago, and this made the ninth child they have lost. Mrs. Hoekstra is almost crazed with grief and grave fears are entertained concerning her mental condition. The family formerly resided here and their sorrow is shared by many of our people.
