Shawn Mikhael Rozeboom, 30, rural Rock Valley, died Wednesday, March 24, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Services were Saturday, March 27, at Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. G.M. de Leeuw officiating. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Shawn Rozeboom, daughter of Robert and Bonnie (Van Otterloo) Davelaar, was born May 19, 1973, in Rock Valley. She graduated from Rock Valley High School, then attended Southwest State College in Marshall, Minnesota and Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. She married Kelly Rozeboom on December 18, 1993, at Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley. She worked at Hegg Memorial Health Center in the Dietary Department. She was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kelly Rozeboom; three sons, Dallas, Cole, and Jaxson Rozeboom of Rock Valley; her parents, Bob and Bonnie Davelaar of Rock Valley; two brothers, Shane and Tamara Davelaar of Rock Valley and Craig Davelaar of Worthington, MN; a sister, Stacia and Troy Schulze of Worthington, MN; grandparents, Willie and Henrietta Davelaar of Rock Valley and Rich and Lyda Van Otterloo of Rock Valley; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, LeRoy and Marcia Rozeboom of Inwood; and two brothers-in-law, Michael Rozeboom and Barney Rozeboom of Inwood.
