Anna Rozeboom, 89, of Sioux Center, Iowa died Sunday, July 10, at the Sioux Center Community Nursing Facility. A memorial service was Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Faith Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Bernie Haan officiating. Interment was in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Rozeboom was born to Teunis and Ida (Noordmans) Hoekstra on August 15,1915, in Hancock, Minnesota. At the age of four, she and her family moved to Sioux Center. She attended school in Sioux Center. On August 12,1938, she married John G. W. Rozeboom. They first made their home on a farm southwest of Sioux Center and then settled on their farm northwest of Carmel, where they lived together for the next for 45 years. He preceded her in death on September 17,1983.

She was a member of Faith Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center and had been a member of Women of Faith and adult Bible studies. She enjoyed time spent with her family, knitting, sewing, games and visiting with her many friends.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Eunice and Allen Dejong of Carmel; a son and daughter-inlaw, Glenn and Betty Rozeboom of Carmel; a brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Evelyn Hoekstra of Houston, Texas; brother-in-law, Ed Rozeboom of Sioux Center; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; five nieces; and two nephews.
She was also preceded in death by an infant grandson; two brothers-in-law, Gerrit G. Rozeboom and William Rozeboom; and two sisters-in-law, Bernice Rozeboom and Elsie Rozeboom.
