Marie Rozeboom, 75, of Rock Valley, died Sunday, October 6, 1985 at Hegg Memorial Hospital, Rock Valley. She was born on December 14, 1909 at Benikom, Netherlands. Marie Van Den Hul came to the United States in 1918. She has been in the Sioux County area for nine years. She married Peter Rozeboom on October 9, 1930 at Larchwood, Iowa. In 1932 they moved to Rock Valley and farmed. In 1963 they moved into Rock Valley where Pete ran P & M Electric. Peter died October 6, 1981.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 9, 1985 at 10:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery.

Survivors include five sons, Herman and Marion both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Marvin, Delmar, and Vernon all of Rock Valley; one daughter Mrs. Ted (Henrietta) King of Canyon Country, California. Two brothers Cornie Van Den Hul, Artesia, California and Gerrit Van Den Hul, Sioux Falls South Dakota; One sister, Gertrude Kamp, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
