Funeral services will be held at the Porter Funeral home in Rock Valley at 1 p. m. Thursday, December 26, for Derk Rozeboom, 96, of Rock Valley, who died December 22 at the Rock Valley Nursing home. Services will be conducted by the Rev. J. Van Sweden and burial will be made in Valley View cemetery.

Mr. Rozeboom was born December 6, 1872, in The Netherlands. He was married to Gertrude Rozeboom March 5, 1893. She died April 15, 1945. On October 13, 1949, he was married to Anna Franken. She died in April of 1962. Mr. Rozeboom farmed in the Rock Valley area until his retirement. He had resided in the Rock Valley Nursing Home since last May.

Survivors include two sons, Gerrit of Alvord and Henry of The Netherlands; two daughters, Mrs. Gerrit Vanden Top and Mrs. Anthony Roskam, both of Rock Valley; 52 grandchildren,200 great grandchildren and 25 great, great grandchildren.
