Sioux County Capital, April 21, 1983

Mrs. Peter Goslinga, 68, of Orange City died unexpectedly Wednesday at Alton.

Services were at 10:30 a.m., Saturday in the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated. Burial was in the Westlawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.

Mrs. Goslinga, the former Ida Roghair, was born April 1, 1915, at Maurice.

She married Peter Goslinga, June 16, 1936 at Sioux City. They farmed near Orange City, moving to town 35 years ago.

She was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband, Peter; two daughters, Mrs. Gil (Shirley) De Goei and Mrs. Dixon (Esther) Granstra, both of Sheldon; four brothers, Gerrit & William, both of Lakewood, CA; Nick of Fond du Lac, WI, and Henry of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Johanna Steenhoven of Lakewood and Mrs. Cletus (Elsie) Brunsman of Cypress, CA and five grandchildren.
