Alton Democrat of May 4, 1907

A double funeral service is a somewhat unusual occurrence but one took place at Sioux Center in the First Reformed church on Saturday April twenty seventh conducted by the pastor of the church. The service was held first to the memory of Mrs, G. H,(John Henry) Kleinwolterink who died at the hospital in Sioux City where she had been taken to undergo an operation. For more than two years Mrs, Kleinwolterink had been a great sufferer and all that human skill could devise and sincere love could procure for her was made use of but without avail. She bore her suffering with resignation and with the assurance that. ".Jesus doeth all things well." She had attained to the age of fifty three years and leaves a sorrowing husband and five children one son and four daughters who deeply feel the loss of a kind and loving mother, A very large concourse of sympathizing friends was evidence of the esteem in which deceased was held.

(This was found to be Mrs. John Henry Kleinwolterink (Johanna Dora Kleinhesselink) born 10 Sep 1853 died 24 April 1907 Sioux Center, Her husband John Henry Kleinwolterink was born 2 April 1861 and died 7 Oct 1938 Sioux Center. They were married June 2, 1883 Orange City. In the 1900 census they had the following children Wilhelmina 1884, Hnery Jan 1885, Dena 1888, Hattie 1889 and Winnie 1897.)
