A funeral service April 27th in the First Reformed church of Sioux Center was held in the memory of the eleven months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Remmerde which was taken from them after a brief illness of about three days. The sorrowing parents have the sincere sympathy of all in this sad and sudden bereavement.

(From the Sioux count death records - Louisa H. Remmerde born May 25, 1906, died April 25, 1907, daughter of J. W. Remmerde and Johanna Schoep. She died at Sioux Center (West Branch) of gastro enteritis. Her parents were Jan Willem 'John William' Remmerde 1873-1958 LA. CA and Johanna Schoep 1870-1951 the family lived in Sioux County and later in life they lived in the Los Angeles CA area. They had at least five other children.)
