Died: 1918Alice Carolyn Collins, the ten-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Collins, residing a few miles northwest of Hawarden, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sioux City last Sunday night, following an operation for appendicitis. She had been in school up till last Thursday when she was taken suddenly ill.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church in this City Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Jas. J. Davies conducting the services. Six little girl friends acted as pallbearers.
