Winnie B. Matson, 82, of Omaha, formerly of Hawarden, died Sunday, May 20 in a hospital in Omaha. Services were at 1:30 pjn. Wednesday, June 1 in the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden. The Rev. Lee Christopberson officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Matson, the former Winnie Batchelder, was born September 24, 1900, in Union County, SD.
She married Alvin Erickson .February 2, 1918. She married Jack Matson in February 1932 in Omaha.
He died November 11, 1932. She had lived in Omaha since 1974.

Survivors include three half sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Nelle) Keehn of Hawarden, Mrs. Ray (Lillle) Bursick of Grants Pass, OR and Violet Anderson of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
