Members of the Herman Ahlers family were notified of the death of their cousin, Richard Koch, 28, in a car accident at midnight Tuesday.

The young man was raised at Granville by his late aunt, Mrs. Herman Ahlers and attended school there. He was currently employed at Nebraska City, Neb.

Surviving are two brothers and three sisters and his cousins of the Herman Ahlers family, who have arranged for funeral services to be held Saturday in St. Joseph's church at 10 o'clock a.m. and rosary Friday evening at Spalding Hall.

Parents could be Eldon Koch & Gertrude, according to the 1930 census records.

NOTE: He could be about 38 years old with a birth in about 1936 if he is in the 1930 census records.
