Sawyer Lee Van Zee, infant son of Michael and Greta Van Zee of Rock Valley, died shortly after birth Tuesday, November 7, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Private family services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9, at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley with Rev. Harlan De Jong officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Survivors include his parents: grandparents, Dick and Deanne Van Zee, Bernard and Eleanor Maas, all of Rock Valley, Walter and Henrietta Post of Sioux Center and Evelyn Mannes of Zeeland, Michigan; and aunts and uncles.
