Cornie Van Tol, 71, died Friday, December 28, at a Rock Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Roger Bultman officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Doon, Iowa. Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley was in charge.

Mr. Van Tol was born March 19, 1908, at Sioux Center Iowa. He married Annetta Mulder on October 5, 1932, at Doon. They lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 20 years, and moved to Rock Valley in October of 1977.

Surivors include the widow; four sons, Joe of Rock Valley, Conley of Paw Paw, Michigan, Kenneth of Caledonia, Michigan, and David of Sioux Center, Iowa. one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Kit) Kooima of Rock Valley; two brothers, Maynard of Sanborn, and William of Ripon, California; two sisters, Mrs. Neal Groendyke of Sanborn, and Mrs. Ike Stensma of Luverne, Minn.; and 14 grandchildren.
