Mrs. Birdella Korver Birdella Korver , 84, of Orange City, passed away Friday, Oct. 11 at her residence.

Anna Birdella was born Jan. 17, 1901, at Orange City, the daughter of Richard De Cook and Mary Thomasson De Cook. On Jan. 2, 1924, she married William George Korver at Orange City. They farmed south of Orange City for several years and then moved into town.

Mr. Korver passed away May 4, 1979 at Orange City. Mrs. Korver was a charter member of the Trinity Reformed Church of Orange City and had been active in the women's organizations there.

Survivors include eight children, Ronald of Tokyo, Japan; Clayton of Dallas, Tex; Russell of Des Mones; Mrs. Miltdn (Rosa) Mackie of White Bear Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Frank (Burlea) Long of Fairbault, Minn.; Lawrence of Orange City; George of Marshall, Minn.; and Dr. David of McMinnville, Ore.; thirty one grandchildren, twenty greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Elsie) Gasser of Lawton; two half-brothers, Lawrence De Cook of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Bernard De Cook of Denver, Colo.; and one step-sister, Mrs, Peter (Henrietta) Van Es of San Jose, Calif.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. James (Charleen) Grove.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 14 at the Trinity Reformed Church with the Rev. Donald R. Lenderink officiating. Interment followed at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City, under the direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City.
