Sam FaberSam Faber, 80, ot Orange City died Monday, November 2. at an Orange City hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 5, at First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City, the Rev. Ralph A. Pontier officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery.
Faber was born April 9, 1907, in The Netherlands. He married Tina Nydham February 7, 1928, in Orange City. They lived in Alton before moving to Orange City. He was a section foreman for the railroad. He lived at the Pioneer Memorial Home and the Heritage House Nursing Home.
Mrs. Faber died July 20, 1984, in Orange City. He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church.
Survivors include a son, Peter, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; a daughter, Bernice Hubers of De Motte, Indiana; a sister, Millie Runia of Sanborn; nine grandchildren.
