Funeral services were held July 31 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Akron, la. for Mr Henry M. Funk, 79, Ireton. Burial was in LeMars Cemetery, Born Dec 14, 1891, Lawton. Married Ellen Taylor June 9, 1915, Balaton, Minn. Farmed all his life in Plymouth County. Retired to Ireton in 1964.

Survivors: Widow; daughters, Mrs. A. N. Majers, Arvada, Colo., Mrs. Jack Mattas, Mrs Arnold Bremer, both of Akron; son Floyd of Simi, California; sisters, Mrs August Richard, Tyler, Minn.; Mrs Frank Krom, Sioux City; Mrs Ed Benck, Wheat Ridge, Colo; brothers Ed, Florence, Mini.; Erwin, Lawtcn; Herman, Seargent Bluff; 13 grandchildren and I8 great grandchildren.
