Word was received in Hawarden Sunday of the death of Robert Schoeneman at San Francisco, California on Sunday. Funeral services were held at Long Beach, Tuesday.

Robert Schoeneman, who was 80 years of age on March 3, 1943, was a pioneer resident of Sioux County, and lived at Hull from 1888 to 1909, when he left for California. At one time he was head of Schoeneman Bros. Co. lumber dealers.

Among his survivors are two brothers, Frank B. Schoeneman and J.H. Schoeneman, both of Hawarden.
