Tracy Mulder Watson, 104, died of heart failure at Wesley Acres in Des Moines on December 7.

A memorial service was December 18, at the Jehavah's Witnesses Grimes Congregation, Grimes. Burial of cremains was at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Watson, born June 19, 1896, was the only surviving member of the William and Janna Mulder family of Alton. She left Alton in 1915 to attend the former Capital City Commercial College in Des Moines. She married Thomas J. Watson in 1919. He died in 1963. A longtime Des Moines resident, she often commented that she was the oldest resident in her neighborhood- both in age and in tenure, having lived at the same address for more than half a century.

Survivors include a son, Jack of Des Moines; a grandson; and two great-grandsons. Sioux County relatives include niece and nephew Arlene Bierma and Dave Mulder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Jen, Coba, and Rena; and four brothers, John, Dick, Ray, Bernie.
