Funeral services were held Monday at the Orange City First Christian Reformed Church for Abe Jacobsma, 50, who passed away at his home in Orange City, Friday afternoon following a heart attack on Thursday. The Rev. Tjapkes officiated. Burial was made in the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Mr. Jacobsma was born June 5, 1915. On May 20, 1938, he married Dorothy Te Brink of Orange City. She passed away on November 29, 1964. They were the parents of six daughters, one of whom died in infancy. September 25, 1965, he married Mrs. Christine Van Leeuwen of Hull.

Survivors include his wife and five daughters; Mrs. John Gesink, Mrs. Rodney Vanden Brink, Mrs. Donald Wielenga, Mrs. Marlo Fedders, and Joan, all of Orange City, 3 step-children: John Van Leeuwen of Hull, Dr. Gerald Van Leeuwen of Columbia, Mo., and Mrs. Peter Wegter of Hull, and five grandchildren.
