Funeral Services for Nick Van Beek, 81 of Kent City, Michigan father of Mrs. Dick Tilstra, and brother Meas Van Beek, both of Hawarden, who died Wednesday of last week, were held at 2 o'clock Monday at Inwood where he formerly resided.

Rev. Martin Gritters officiated at the Christian Reformed Church with burial in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Mr. Van Beek was born June 2, 1884 in The Netherlands, and came to United States as a boy. He lived in the Inwood and Rock Valley area until 1933 when me moved to Kent City.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Fred Tilstra and Mrs. Sy Tolsma both of inwood, Mr. Jasper Haveman of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Dick Tilstra of Hawarden; two sons Peter of Randoplh Wis, and Gerrit of Wyoming, Mich.; a sister Mrs. John Den Boer of Doon, Iowa, two brothers, Meas Van Beek of Hawarden and Peter Van Beek of Sioux Center; 37 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
