Mrs. Jacob Wielenga whose maiden name was Renske Knol, was born in Tzummarun, Friesland, Netherlands on Sept. 7, 1874. The 11th of May, 1895 she was united in marriage to Mr. Jacob Wielenga. In the spring of 1911 they came to the United States and lived near Hospers, then moved to Boyden and then for 20 years they lived in Northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota; also Perkins and the last few years in Hull.

February 1, 1949 Mrs. Wielenga was called to her eternal home after an illness of 10 days.

The following mourn her departure, her husband and 4 children, Peter of Doon, Jake of Paramount, Calif., Anne, Mrs. Dave Dykstra, Hull and Ben of Norwalk, Calif. Also 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday from the Dave Dykstra home and from the Christian Reformed Church in charge the Rev. Hanenburg. Pallbearers were Dick De Koster, William De Roos, William Dykstra, John Humme, G Scholten and L. Zuiderhof. Interment in Hull Cemetery.
