Funeral services for Vernon H. Vander Schoor, 67, formerly of Orange City, were held July 7 in Rogers, Ark. He was buried in the National Cemetery , Fayetteville, Ark.

Mr. Vander Schoor died on July 2, 1982. He was born and raised in Orange City.

He married Matilda Dykstra of Boyden. He had been administrator of Veterans hospials in Sioux Falls S.D. and Des Moines, Iowa. He moved to Rogers, Arkansas five years ago.

Mr. Vander Schoor is survived by his wife, a daughter, Linda Ellis of Kansas City, and two sons, Vernon Jr. of Apple Valley, Minn., and Daniel of Des Moines.
