Mrs. John A. Wesselink passed away at her home last week Thursday, May 12 after an illness of several months.

Alice Bosvelt, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Bosveld of Pella was born at Pella, Iowa July 5, 1911.

She was married to John A. Wesselink, March 9, 1934 and came to Sioux Center where she spent all of her married Life. One daughter, Gertrude Louise was born to them. She was a devoted Christian mother and loved by all who knew her.

She passed away quietly. Her husband and daughter are left to mourn her death. Also her to mourn her early death are her parents, one sister, Mrs. Ted Vermeer, three brothers, Louis, Fred and Robert and her hosts of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 16th at the First Reformed church of Sioux Center, Rev. Van Engelhoeven of Alton officiating.

Relatives and friends from a distance attending and last rites were Mr. and Mrs. J. Bosveld, and sons Louis, Fred and Robert, of Pella, Mr. and Mrs. Oelwien of Osceola, Mr. and Mrs. Vander Gaarde of Chicago, Mr. Gerrit Wesselink of Chicago, Peter Wesselink of Kansas City, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meredith of West Liberty, Iowa, Arthur Wesselink of Chicago, Edward Wesselink of Pella, Jess wells of Graetinger, Dr. and Mrs. J. Wesselink of St. Anne, Ill., Mrs. W.B. Ferrell of Willmar, Minn., Mrs. J. Hauck of Preston, Canada, William Wesselink of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Mrs. Sophia Ver Steeg of Pella, and Mrs. Fred Lautenbach of Pella.
