Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn Tott Kooyman, 79, were conducted Saturday at the Van Etten Funeral Home in Orange City. Burial was in the Nassan township cemetery at Alton.

Mrs. Kooyman, mother-in-law of Levi A. Dickinson who spent his earlier years at Hawarden, died January 16, in De Kalb General Hospital at Decatur, Georgia, after a short illness.

She was born in Alton July 17, 1887, and spent her early life in the Alton-Orange City area.

She married Andrew J. Kooyman, who died in 1926, when they were living in Alcester. After Mrs. Kooyman left South Dakota in 1942 she lived in Daytona Beach, Florida, until 1964 when she moved to Georgia.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Levi A. Dickinson, 245 West Parkwood Road, Decatur, Georgia, and Mrs. William B. Owen, Route 4, Mobile, Alabama.
