Marla G. Bouma, 40, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Hull, died Monday, February 11, upon arrival at the Sioux Center Municipal Airport. She was being flown to Sioux Center from Denver, Colo. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 14, in the First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. William D. Van Dyken and the Rev. Clifford Hoekstra officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery. Visitation was after 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 with the family present from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Miss Bouma was born March 23, 1944, at Hull. She graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull and Dordt College in Sioux Center. She was an elementary teacher in Christian schools in Doon, Fulton, Ill., Edgerton, Minn., Orange City, and Denver. In 1976 she became business administrator at Carey Christian Health Center in Carey, Miss. In 1981, she became the parish worker at Sun Valley Christian Reformed Church in Denver.

Miss Bouma was a member of the Third Christian Reformed Church in Denver.

Survivors include her parents, Otto and Harriet Bouma of Hull and a brother, Loren of Hull.
