Dan Mullen aged forty died at his home six miles northeast of here this week and was buried Thursday. He leaves a wife and children.

( 1900 census had the only Dan Mullen family found in that area of O'Brien county was Dan Mullen b. Oct 1851 Canada his wife was Mary bon Apr 1859 Canada, they had 5 children.)
