Mr. John Leusink passed away Saturday evening at six o'clock after a long illness. Mr. Leusink had reached the age of 78 years. He was born in the Netherlands on May 26, 1876 and came to America when he was a a child.

He was married to Jane Van De Hoef in 1911. The couple moved to a farm near Middleburg where they spent most of their life. There were four children born and they are: Gary of Corning, Iowa; Margaret, Mrs. Bernard Krommendyk of Hull; Grace, Mrs. Peter Dykstra of Hull and Eugene of Hull.

Surviving besides his wife and children are seven grandchildren of which one grandchild preceded him in death. Two sisters and four brothers also preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the First Reformed Church of Hull with Rev. Peter De Jong of Sioux Center officiating. Internment was made in the Middleburg Cemetery. The Kraai and Van Etten Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
