Mrs. Henry Leusink passed away very suddenly at her home at Sioux Center on Saturday morning, Feb 14, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and days.

Mrs. Leusink nee Kate "Tryntje" Vis, was united in marriage to Henry Leusink on Feb 21, 1907 at Hull, Iowa.

She is now survived by her husband and the following children: Henrietta (Mrs. John E. Dreisen) of Hudson, S.D., Peter of Orange City, Hattie and Gerrit J. both of Sioux Center, William of Holland, Minn., Gertie (Mrs. Abe Beukelman) of Sioux Center, Katherine (Mrs. Steve Vos) Sioux Center, Gerrit and Janette also of Sioux Center. One daughter, Grace preceded her in death in 1940 and a son, John died in infancy in 1926. She is further survived by 25 grandchildren, her aged step mother Mrs. Peter Vis and the following brothers and sisters; William Vis, John Vis, Henry Vis, Peter Vis, Mrs. Ed Dykstra, Mrs. John Andela all of Hull, Mrs. August Smit of Boyden and Mrs. Leo De Zoete of Chino Calif.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the home and at the First Reformed church, Rev. P.A. De Jong officiating. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Steve Vos, William Leusink, Gerrit J. Leusink, Abe Beukelman, Gerrit H. Leusink & Peter Leusink.
