Peter I Kuipers, 77, of Hospers died Saturday in a hospital at Sheldon after a brief illness.

Services will be held at 1:30pm. Wednesday in the First Christian Reformed Church in Hospers. The Rev. J. Groenewold will officiate. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery at Sheldon under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center. Family visitation will be 7:30 to 8:30pm Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Kuipers was born Sept. 25, 1904 at Boyden. He was a lifelong Hospers area farmer.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Peter (Kathryn) Zylstra of Hospers.
