Rena In't Veld, 71, died Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls. Funeral service was Oct. 13 at the Christian Reformed Church, Inwood with the Rev. Dave Heilman and the Rev. Rich Kooistra officiating. Interment was in Richland Cemetery at Inwood.

Rena In't Veld was born Nov. 14,1929 at Doon, to Henry and Jennie (Brouwer) Brands. She received her education at the Rock Valley Christian School and was an assistant caregiver for many families in the area. She married Arie In't Veld on July 6,1951 at the Inwood Christian Reformed Church. They farmed and lived in the Inwood area until moving to a Rock Valley acreage in March of 1973.

She was a member of the Inwood Christian Reformed Church and longtime member of Willing Workers Aid.

Survivors include: husband Arie; sons, Marvin of Orange City and Arlen of Bell Fouche, S.D.; daughters, Geraldine Burmeister of Windom, Minn., Bertina Case of Madison Lake, Minn., Henrietta Van Beek of Inwood and Evelyn Gundvaldson of Worthing, S.D.; brother, Gerald of Inwood; seven sisters, Jennie Dragstra of Edgerton, Minn., Nelma Byker of Hawarden, Dorothy Voortman of Sioux Center, Gertrude Kruid of Hawarden, Marian Wallenburg of Inwood, Arlene Bakker of Valley Springs, S.D., Carol Bouwman of Rock Valley; step-brother, Frank Vos of S. Sioux City, Neb.; three step-sisters, Jo Keunen of Alton, Lydia Madtson of Luverne, Minn., and Evelyn Bajama of Grand Rapids, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother; infant twin brothers.
